When Should You Visit a Clinic?
Many illnesses settle on their own with rest and fluids. Others improve much faster when a clinician sees you early.
Consider visiting a clinic if a fever lasts more than two days, if pain is getting worse instead of better, if a wound looks red or swollen, or if you feel unusually weak or dizzy.
Children, older adults and people living with long-term conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure should be seen earlier rather than later.
If symptoms are severe or sudden — heavy bleeding, chest pain, difficulty breathing or loss of consciousness — treat it as an emergency and go to the nearest emergency facility.
